The summer of 2000 I drove for seven weeks from Atlanta to the West coast stopping at Santa Fe, Yellowstone Park, Seattle, San Francisco and many other places. I camped most nights, except when visiting relatives and friends. Here are some of my photographs. I mostly used both slide and print film in my 35mm camera. Included are several pictures with my Large Format camera (the film is 4"x5" resulting in photos which can be enlarged to mural size and still be sharp).
Bandelier National Monument.
The Taos Pueblo.
I spent two nights at the largest sandbox in the US, also known as the Great Sand Dunes National Monument in Colorado.
Grand Tetons National Park, on a nine mile hike.
This view of Grand Prismatic Basin in Yellowstone is well known among photographers. I met Art Wolfe here, he is a very well known nature photographer with a gallery in the REI in Seattle.
